Leo
Leonardo (Lucky) Piyaket, our Golden Retriever, the very first family pet was introduced to us by the courtesy of Auntie Pond. He came to us from Khon Kaen when he was about 3 months old in late 2013, the same year we returned to Thailand. He was so cute and small when we first met him, but that apparently didn’t last very long as he grew up so quickly – too quickly perhaps…
Leo was very energetic in his youngs. He had so much energy that we needed to engage him in outdoor activities so that he could calm down afterward. Leo did not like to be lifted or held up by anyone, and he would definitely bite you if you tried to do so. But other than that, he was a friendly and eager-to-please retriever.

Early in 2023, as he turned 10, his hind legs began to get weak and Leo began to struggle in getting up. Eventually, his legs became too weak to support his body weight and he gave up on trying. His health deteriorated quickly and he passed away on March 24.
RIP Leo. You will always be part of our family and thank you for all the good memories.
